The Course

Whether you want to work within the legal profession or you just have a real interest for the subject, studying law with us will challenge the way you think while opening the door to incredible career opportunities.

The LLB Law (three year) degree covers the key aspects of legal theory and practice theory. You will study all areas of English Law and how this is influenced by and impacts ethical, social, political, environmental and economic values. The skills and knowledge you’ll gain will be transferable to everyday life, enabling you to experience and see the world from different viewpoints.

  • All the  courses are Qualifying Law Degrees (QLD)
  • You can go on to unlock a traditional legal career as a solicitor, barrister, chartered legal executive or paralegal. You can also  follow exciting careers outside of law. You can look forward to working in areas such as education, journalism and public relations.

 

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs at Grade C/4 (or equivalent), including English Language. EU and International equivalent qualifications may also be accepted.

If you do not meet these entry requirements, you can take our assessments and attend an interview. If you pass, you can be admitted to the course. We do not charge a fee for this.

For international applicants, if your first language is not English, you will require Academic IELTS at 5.5 (minimum 5.0 in each category).

You must have completed Year 11 (Key Stage 4) at least 2 years before you start the course. This would normally mean that you will be 18 years old or above when you start.
