Why study International Tourism Management?

This course is a natural pathway for tourism, business and management graduates, but it is open to all who have completed an undergraduate degree or people with significant industry experience.

You will be guided by an experienced academic team through current thinking on international tourism management, planning and development, that range from corporate governance to sustainability, international marketing to tourism planning in an international context. Optional modules include an industry work placement in London and an opportunity to carry out international fieldwork in Cuba.

The degree will equip you with a wide range of analytical, research and communication skills as you work with fellow students and undertake your own original research. You will develop senior management and leadership potential for the tourism and travel industry, underpinned by ethical and responsible business practices. The course will support you in furthering your management career in an international context.

Why St Mary’s?

St Mary’s offers students the best of both worlds: the campus is based near the river in the green and safe London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames, but is only a half hour journey from central London.
